BELGRADE (Serbia), August 12 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed Thursday's session higher, with oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
NIS' shares closed 1.31% higher at 618 dinars on Thursday, bourse data showed.
Aluminum producer Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its shares fell 1.25% to 3,400 dinars.
Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] generated the highest turnover among the blue-chips, as 94 of its shares changed hands in six transactions worth a total of 817,810 dinars ($8,200/7,000 euro). Jedinstvo's shares closed flat at 8,700 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, closed 0.31% higher at 792.14 points.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.16% at 1,689.47 points.
The bourse's total turnover fell to 5.4 million dinars on Thursday, from 5.7 million dinars on Wednesday, as 80 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 1 million dinars.
