December 6 (SeeNews) - Serbia's Nis airport said it serviced 130,914 passengers in the first eleven months of 2021, down 13.4% year-on-year.
The number of takeoffs and landings at Nis airport fell to 951 in the first eleven months of 2021 from 969 in the like period of last year, whereas cargo volume went down to 309.5 tonnes from 456.5 tonnes, figures posted on the website of the Konstantin Veliki Airport in Nis show.
In November alone, the airport handled 14,201 passengers, while only 3,815 passengers were serviced in November 2020. The number of takeoffs and landings totalled 202 in November 2021, up from 86. A total of 985 kg of cargo were processed in November 2021, versus 52.4 tonnes in the eleventh month of last year.
Serbia's Nis airport serviced 154,233 passengers in 2020, down 63%.
