June 5 (SeeNews) - Serbia's Nis airport said it served 164,584 passengers in the first five months of 2023, up 38% on the year.
The number of aircraft takeoffs and landings grew to 1,434 in the January-May period from 1,372 in the like period of last year, Nis Airport said in a data release.
In May alone, the airport handled 37,646 passengers, up 9.3% on the year, while the number of takeoffs and landings fell to 300 from 320 in May 2022.
In 2022, the airport served 389,022 passengers, up from 146,296 in 2021.
