October 11 (SeeNews) - Rompetrol Downstream, the retail division of the KMG International Group in Romania, said on Friday it recently opened a new fuel station under the Rompetrol Partner franchise in the city of Cugir, in Alba county.
The total investment amounts to about 1 million euro ($1.1 million euro) and was made byTrans Ivinis company, company with which Rompetrol has been partnering since 2005, Rompetrol said in a press release.
Trans Ivinis owns a chain of petrol stations in urban and rural areas in Alba county.
The station will employ 15.
The Cugir Partner Station is the 21st station opened by the Rompetrol franchise in the last three years.
At the end of August, Rompetrol Downstream operated 950 fuel points, 70 more than a year earlier. It also operates six fuel deposits in Arad, Craiova, Mogosoaia, Simleul Silvaniei, Vatra Dornei and Zarnesti as well as three bottling stations for liquefied petroleum gas in Bacau, Arad and Pantelimon.
