April 17 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria rose by an annual 1% to 8,419 in the first quarter of the year, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Wednesday.
In March alone, registrations of new passenger cars in the country fell 1.4% to 3,266 in the first three months of the year, ACEA said in a statement.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell 3.3% year-on-year to some 4 million in the review period.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, new passenger car registrations edged up 0.3% to 357,455.
