October 17 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria increased by an annual 19.7% to 26,443 in the first nine months of 2018, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Wednesday, citing provisional figures.
In September alone, registrations of new passenger cars in the country grew 8.5% year-on-year to 2,758, ACEA said in a press release.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, increased 2.5% year-on-year to some 11.95 million in the January-September period, according to ACEA.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, new passenger car registrations rose 13.0% to 1.1 million in the first nine months of 2018.
In 2017, Bulgaria's new passenger car registrations rose 18.5% to 31,244.
