November 11 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's biometric identification security solutions developer Biodit has increased its capital by 195,583 levs ($110,000/100,000 euro) to 12.82 million levs via a new share issue, according to commercial register data.
All newly-issued shares were subscribed for by Luxembourg-registered New Europe Venture Equity II at a price of 1 lev apiece, documents entered into the commercial register last week showed.
This is the third time the company has increased its capital so far this year. Biodit ended 2018 with a registered capital of 12 million levs.
Earlier this year, Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission rejected Biodit's request for approval of an initial public offering (IPO) prospectus. Biodit was planning to offer 2.2 million shares for subscription in the 1.0-1.1 levs price range.
