April 5 (SeeNews) - Sales of new passenger cars in Croatia fell to 3,882 in March from 4,165 in the same month of 2021, market research agency Promocija Plus said on Tuesday.
Kia was the top-selling brand in the country of some 3.89 million people with 387 cars sold in March, Promocija Plus said in a statement. Its sales rose on an annual comparison basis, from 261 cars sold in March 2021.
Skoda followed with 335 cars, down from 585 in March 2021, and Volkswagen ranked third with 330 cars, down from 623 last year.
The best-selling models in March were Hyundai Tuscon with 125 cars sold, Opel Mokka with 121 ones and Kia XCeed with 113 units.
New car sales in the first three months of 2022 totalled 9,763, down 7.2% compared to the same period of 2021.
In 2021, sales of new passenger cars in Croatia rose by 25.5% to 45,389 vehicles.
