August 26 (SeeNews) - Swedish media networks optimisation services provider Net Insight has completed a 150,000 euro ($177,000) project to provide a new contribution network based on the Nimbra cloud platform throughout the Balkans to Serbian pay-TV provider Arena Sport, it said.
Supported by its local partner Tera Adria, Net Insight has built a new network for secure and reliable transmission of live sports content, connecting the satellite reception location with the main centre in Belgrade, and a remote studio in Slovenia's Ljubljana, where the sports content is being localised and then transmitted over the Balkans region, the Swedish company said in a statement on Tuesday.
"We have successfully launched new high-end sports broadcasts to our viewers, thanks to an easy and fast network deployment. It has been enabled by Net Insight's high-quality solution which empowers dynamic and reliable media transport," the COO of Arena Sport, Darko Petrovic has said.
The order was delivered during the fourth quarter of 2019 and the first quarter of 2020, Net Insight noted.
Arena Sport is a regional pay-TV sports network consisting of six television channels and its coverage area includes Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia.
