PRISTINA (Kosovo), April 27 (SeeNews) – The net inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Kosovo decreased to 19.6 million euro ($23.8 million) in February, as compared to 22.1 million euro in the same month of 2017, according to central bank data.
By comparison, foreign remittances to Kosovo increased to 53 million euro in February, up 4.5% year-on-year.
The biggest volume of inbound foreign investment in Kosovo in February, of 5.1 million euro, originated in Switzerland. Austria followed with 1.9 million euro.
The sectors, which attracted the biggest volume of investment by non-residents in February were real estate, renting and business activities with 12.9 million euro and construction with 2.2 million euro.
