June 4 (SeeNews) - Nestle Adriatic, part of Swiss food company Nestle, said on Wednesday it is planning to open a 1.5 million euro ($2.0 million) waste water treatment plant at its Surcin factory in Serbia on June 11.
The plant will treat technological and sanitary water, with a capacity to process 160 cubic metres daily, Nestle Adriatic said in a press release.
Surcin is a municipality located on the outskirts of the capital Belgrade.
Nestle Adriatic is in charge of Nestle's operations in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Kosovo.
