April 26 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's government said Nepal-based diversified conglomerate CG Corp Global expressed interest in opening a luxury wellness and spa centre in the country.
The business environment in Montenegro is attractive and the country's economic growth prospects are favourable, the president of CG Corp Global, Binod Chaudhary, said during a meeting with Montenegro's prime minister Dusko Markovic, as quoeted by the government on Wednesday.
CG Corp Global operates luxury hotels and resorts on Bali, the Maldives, Sri Lanka and in New York, and provides tourist services in 17 countries, the government said.
Earlier this week, Chaudhary said CG Corp Global is considering an investment in a major Serbian banking group and in a world-class wellness complex in Serbia.
The Nepal-based group is operating hotels and resorts and is active in the tourism, real estate, food and beverages industries, financial services and cement production. The group has about 10,000 employees in 30 countries worldwide, according to data from its corporate website.
