July 14 (SeeNews) - Fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:3NB] was the top blue-chip gainer on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday, bourse data showed.
Neochim [BUL:3NB] shares closed 5.22% higher at 60.5 levs in a trading volume of 78 units.
Total trading turnover on the Sofia bourse rose to 1.2 million levs on Friday from 233,300 levs on Thursday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.51% to 713.10 points, after falling 0.24% on Thursday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, increased 0.41% to 134.48 points, after edging down 0.08% on Thursday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, added 0.43% to 114.21 points on Friday. On Thursday, the index lost 0.04%.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.50% to 541.43 points, after adding 0.24% on Thursday.
Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] was the most traded blue chip on Friday as 14,300 of the company shares changed hands at an average price of 1.703 levs.
Hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] led the blue-chip decliners on Friday, closing 0.93% lower at 8.421 levs.
