March 19 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian farming company ZK Pelagonija [MSE:ZPKO] said that its net profit soared to 34.7 million denars ($641,000/564,000 euro) in 2018 from 12.8 million denars in 2017.
The company's operating revenue dropped 22% to 1.36 billion denars last year, ZK Pelagonija said in an unaudited financial statement last week.
Domestic sales fell 9% to 1.12 billion denars, while sales abroad declined 15% to 113.8 million denars.
Total operating expenses rose 6% to 1.38 billion denars, as expenses for materials grew 9% to 614.1 million denars.
Inventories of finished and unfinished goods at the beginning of the review period were 47% lower on the year at 419 million denars, while they were 24% higher year-on-year at 525.4 million denars at the end of 2018.
