May 14 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian farming company ZK Pelagonija [MSE:ZPKO] said on Tuesday that its non-consolidated net loss narrowed to 54.5 million denars ($995,000/886,000 euro) in the first quarter of 2019 from 63.3 million denars in the same period of 2018.
The company's total operating revenue grew 51% to 187.2 million denars in the January-March period, ZK Pelagonija said in an interim financial statement.
Domestic sales revenue rose 37% to 148.3 million denars. The company also bagged 24.7 million denars from exports in the review period, versus none in the prior-year period.
Operating expenses fell 14% year-on-year to 204 million denars, after a 24% drop in expenses for materials, which amounted to 62.2 million levs in the first quarter of 2019.
