November 11 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based food company Vitaminka [MSE:VITA] said that its non-consolidated net profit plunged 79% year-on-year to 9.6 million denars ($172,000/156,000 euro) in the first nine months of 2019.
Vitaminka's operating revenue rose by an annual 11% to 1.8 billion denars in the January-September period of 2019, the company said in an interim financial statement on Friday.
However, inventories of finished and unfinished goods dropped to 63.2 million denars at the end of September from 144.3 million denars at the start of 2019.
The company's operating expenses increased 7% to 1.6 billion denars in the review period, as expenses for materials added 6% to 1 billion denars.
Vitaminka specialises in the production of chocolate confectionery and crisp snacks.
