August 3 (SeeNews) - N.Macedonia’s food company Vitaminka AD Prilep [MSE:VITA] said that its non-consolidated net profit rose to 20.6 million denars ($339,691/333,831 euro) in the first half of 2022, from 17.2 million denars reported for the same period of last year.
Total operating revenue increased by 41% on the year to 1.9 billion denars in January-June, the company said in an interim financial statement filed with the stock exchange in Skopje last week.
Domestic sales were up 60% on the year at 1.3 billion denars, whereas sales on foreign markets rose 12% to 580.3 million denars in the first half of 2022.
Operating expenses increased by 51% year-on-year to 1.9 billion denars in the period under review, as expenses for materials soared 64% to 1.3 billion denars.
Vitaminka specialises in the production of chocolate confectionery and crisp snacks.
