March 11 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's yarn and thread manufacturer Veteks [MSE:VTKS] said its net profit fell to 12.34 million denars ($226,881/200,324 euro) in 2019 from 13.32 million denars the previous year.
Operating revenue decreased by 2.5% year-on-year to 288.01 million denars, while operating costs fell nearly 6% to 277.6 million denars, the company said in its 2019 annual financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse on Tuesday.
Financial revenues were down 38% to 2.12 million denars, whereas financial expenses rose 18.21% to 318,000 denars.
Shares of Veteks last traded on the Skopje bourse on April 11, 2019, when they closed at 945 denars.
