August 1 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's UNI Banka said its net profit fell 2.7% on the year to 104.8 million denars ($1.7 million/1.7 million euro) in the first six months of 2022.
UNI Banka's net interest income increased 15.6% year-on-year to 461.6 million denars, while net fee and commission grew by 41.4% to 148.7 million denars, the bank said in an interim financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse last week.
The lender's assets rose to 25.1 billion denars at the end of June from 24 billion denars at the end of 2021.
Loans and advances to customers other than banks increased to 18.1 billion denars from 17.3 billion denars at the end of last year, while deposits from such customers slightly decreased to 19.2 billion denars at the end of June from 19.5 billion denars at the end of last year.
