March 18 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian cigarette producer Tutunski Kombinat-Prilep (TKP) [MSE:TKPR] said that its net loss widened to 188.2 million denars ($2.2 million/1.9 million euro) in 2018 from 51.8 million denars the year before.
The company's total operating revenue fell 5% to 945.9 million denars last year, TKP said in an unaudited financial statement on Friday.
Domestic market sales plunged 41% to 141.4 million denars, while sales abroad rose 6% to 773.6 million denars.
TKP's total operating expenses grew 19% to 1.19 billion denars in 2018, as service costs soared 237% to 374.1 million denars.
