May 3 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based lender TTK Banka [MSE:TTK] reported a net profit of 16.3 million denars ($292,390/265,004 euro) for the first quarter of 2023, significantly less than the 30.5 million denars net profit recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
In the first quarter of 2023, TTK Banka saw its net interest income rise to 73 million denars from 58.8 million denars in the first three months of 2022, while net fee and commission income fell to 42.9 million denars from 47 million denars, TTK Banka said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.
Other operating income plunged to 6.3 million denars in the quarter under review from 21.5 million denars in the first three months of 2022.
The bank's assets increased to 9.1 billion denars at the end of March from 8.7 billion denars at the end of last year.
Loans and advances to customers other than banks were slightly lower at 4.7 billion denars at the end of March, compared to 4.8 billion denars the end of 2022, while deposits from customers other than banks increased to 7.6 billion denars from 7.1 billion denars.
The lender's shares last traded at an average price of 1,367 denars on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on April 28, according to the latest bourse data.
