August 16 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based wine producer Tikves [MSE:TKVS] said on Tuesday that its net profit more than doubled in the first half of 2022 to 32.7 million denars ($538,826/531,900 euro) from 12.2 million denars in the like period of 2021.
Tikves sales revenue grew 51% year-on-year to 1.3 billion denars in the first six months of 2022, the company said in a financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse.
Domestic sales rose 24% in the six months through June to 545.3 million denars, whereas sales from abroad grew 82% to 727.8 million denars.
The company's cost of consumed materials and other supplies increased to 307.8 million denars in the six months under review, from 190.8 million denars in the same period of 2021.
Tikves’ shares last traded on the Skopje bourse on Јuly 29 at an average price of 5,000 denars.
