April 19 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian textile products manufacturer Teteks [MSE:TETE] said on Friday that it turned to a consolidated net profit of 6.3 million denars ($115,000/102,000 euro) in the first quarter of 2019 from a net loss of 15.1 million denars in the same period of last year.
Teteks booked total operating revenue of 49.7 million denars in the January-March period of 2019, down 14% year-on-year, the company said in a bourse filing.
The company's sales revenue remained nearly flat on the year at 39.6 million denars, as domestic sales fell 16%, while sales abroad grew 22%.
Operating expenses dropped by an annual 12% to 55 million denars in the review period, as employee expenses fell 16% to 21.1 million denars.
Financial revenue soared 92% to 8.5 million denars, while financial expenses shrank 99% to 205,000 denars.
