February 6 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Stopanska Banka [MSE:STB] said that its net profit reached 2.4 billion denars ($42.8 million/39.7 million euro) in 2022, down 0.6% year-on-year, while net interest income and net fee and commission income both increased.
Net interest income was 9.4% higher at 4.2 billion denars, whereas net fee and commission income rose by 8% to 898.6 million denars, the bank said in an annual financial statement on Friday.
Net impairment costs increased to 1.2 billion denars year-on-year, from 772.4 million denars.
Stopanska Banka's total assets increased to 122.8 billion denars at the end of the 2022, from 114.1 billion denars a year earlier.
Loans and advances to clients other than banks rose to 85.9 billion denars at the end of 2022 from 78 billion denars at the end of 2021, while deposits from customers other than banks rose to 94.4 billion denars from 89.7 billion denars.
Stopanska Banka Skopje's shares traded at an average price of 1,350 denars on February 3 on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE), according to the latest bourse data available.
