October 31 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Stopanska Banka Skopje [MSE:STB] said that its net profit rose 13.7% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2022, reaching 2.1 billion denars ($33.2 million/33.5 million euro).
Net interest income increased to 3 billion denars in the period under review, from 2.8 billion denars a year earlier, whereas net fee and commission income expanded to 666.7 million denars from 633.3 million denars, the bank said in an interim financial statement on Friday.
Net financial asset impairment losses rose to 627.1 million denars in the January-September period, from 606.2 million denars last year.
Stopanska Banka Skopje's assets amounted to 117 billion denars at the end of the September, up from 114.1 billion denars at the end of 2021.
Loans and advances to clients other than banks rose to 83.5 billion denars at the end of September from 78 billion denars at the end of 2021, while deposits from customers other than banks fell to 88.1 billion denars from 89.7 billion denars.
