March 30 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Stopanska Banka Bitola [MSE:SBT] said on Thursday it expects to book a net profit of 65.1 million denars ($1.2 million/1.1 million euro) in 2023, more than double compared with the 29.9 million denars net profit made a year earlier.
Net interest income is seen growing 8.14% on the year to 362.2 million denars, while net fee and commission income is projected at 150.8 million denars, up 4.83%, the lender said in a presentation filed with the Skopje bourse.
Stopanska Banka Bitola's assets are projected to increase to 13.3 billion denars at the end of 2023 from 11.7 billion denars a year earlier, as loans and advances to customers other than banks are planned to rise by an annual 10.68% to 7.8 billion denars.
Stopanska Banka Bitola's shares last traded at an average price of 2,600 denars on the Skopje bourse on March 23, the latest available bourse data showed.
The bank's net profit net profit dropped to 29.9 million denars in 2022, from 345.1 million denars net profit booked a year earlier.
