August 18 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said it gave the green light to Sparkasse Bank Makedonija AD Skopje to increase its capital by 1.228 billion denars ($20.3 million/20 million euro).
Sparkasse Bank AD Skopje will issue 417,972 ordinary shares, with a nominal value of 2,670 denars each, at a price of 2,938 denars per share, the SEC said in a statement on Wednesday.
The newly issued shares will be purchased by the lender's parent company, Austria-based Steiermarkische Bank und Sparkassen.
Back in June, Sparkasse Bank AD Skopje said it will offer for sale 1,588 of its own shares representing 0.1% interest, for a total of 4.66 million denars.
Sparkasse Bank's total share capital of 4.478 billion denars is divided into 1,677,443 shares of 2,670 denars in par value each.
