SKOPJE (North Macedonia), October 22 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia's real net wage increased by 8% year-on-year in August, after growing by an annual 7.1% in July, the national statistical office said on Thursday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in North Macedonia added 9.6% on the year in August, reaching 27,535 denars ($528/447 euro), Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms, of 20.4%, was registered in arts, entertainment and recreation, followed by the agriculture, forestry and fishing sector with an annual rise of 16.9% in August.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage in North Macedonia increased by 0.6% in August.
