September 20 (SeeNews) - The real net wage in North Macedonia increased by 5.3% year-on-year in July, after rising by 4.9% in June, the national statistical office said on Wednesday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage added 14.1% on the year in July, reaching 36,286 denars ($630.9/589.5 euro), Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms - by 19.5% - was registered in the construction sector, followed by the education sector with a rise of 17.2%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage in North Macedonia went down 1.7% in July.
