SKOPJE (North Macedonia), April 19 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia's real net wage increased by 2.1% year-on-year in February, after growing by 0.8% in January, the national statistical office said on Friday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in North Macedonia added 3.2% to 24,192 denars ($440.8/391.5 euro) in February, Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms, of 8.5%, was registered in the sector of agriculture, forestry and fishing, followed by construction with a rise of 8.3%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average nominal net wage in North Macedonia rose by 3.4% in February.
