SKOPJE (North Macedonia), July 19 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia's real net wage increased by 1.7% year-on-year in May, after growing by 1.6% in April, the national statistical office said on Friday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in North Macedonia added 3.1% on the year to 25,270 denars ($459/408 euro) in May, Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms, of 10.0%, was registered in the sector of transportation and storage, followed by construction with a rise of 7.4%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average nominal net wage in North Macedonia rose by 2.0% in May.
