SKOPJE (North Macedonia), June 21 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia's real net wage increased by 1.6% year-on-year in April, after growing by 2.3% in March, the national statistical office said on Friday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in North Macedonia added 3.5% on the year to 24,785 denars ($450/400 euro) in April, Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms, of 9.4%, was registered in the sector of healthcare and social work, followed by transportation and storage with a rise of 8.5%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average nominal net wage in North Macedonia rose by 0.8% in April.
