May 22 (SeeNews) - The real net wage in North Macedonia decreased 2% year-on-year in March, after falling by 3.1% in February, the national statistical office said on Monday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage added 12.4% on the year in March, reaching 34,925 denars ($613/566.4 euro), Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms - by 19.8% - was registered in the construction sector, followed by the education sector with a rise of 15%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage in North Macedonia went up 3.7% in March.
