May 20 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's real net wage edged up 1.2% year-on-year in March after decreasing by 0.8% the previous month, the national statistical office said on Friday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in North Macedonia added 10.1% on the year in March, reaching 31,080 denars ($533.1/503.2 euro), Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms - by 21.4% - was registered in the financial and insurance sector, followed by a 20.2% rise in the arts, entertainment and recreation segment.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage in North Macedonia rose 2.5% in March.
