September 21 (SeeNews) - The real net wage in North Macedonia decreased 3.9% year-on-year in July, after falling 3.1% the previous month, the national statistical office said on Wednesday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage added 11.5% on the year in July, reaching 31,812 denars ($514/518 euro), Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms - by 17.8% - was registered in the accommodation and food services sector, followed by a 17.5% rise in professional, scientific and technical activities.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage in North Macedonia fell by 2% in July.
