August 19 (SeeNews) - The real net wage in North Macedonia decreased 3.1% year-on-year in June, after falling 2.3% the previous month, the national statistical office said on Friday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in North Macedonia added 10.9% on the year in June, reaching 31,869 denars ($520.3/517.6 euro), Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms - by 23.1% - was registered in the accommodation and food services sector, followed by a 17.5% rise in the arts, entertainment and recreation segment.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage in North Macedonia fell by 1.3% in June.
