March 9 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based brewer and soft drinks producer Prilepska Pivarnica [MSE:PPIV] said that its net profit grew 13% year-on-year in 2021, reaching 92.7 million denars ($1.6 million/1.5 million euro)..
Operating revenues rose 4% on the year to 1.7 billion denars in 2021, Prilepska Pivarnica said in an annual financial statement last week.
Revenues from domestic sales went up 4% to 1.65 billion denars, while sales from abroad decreased 18% to 14.1 million denars.
The company's operating costs rose 6% year-on-year to 1.6 billion denars in 2021.
Prilepska Pivarnica was founded in 1924. It produces beer under the trademarks Zlaten Dab and Krali Marko and holds the licences for distributing Tuborg and Carlsberg brands in North Macedonia. It also produces carbonated non-alcoholic drinks, fruit nectar soft drinks and bottles the products of Pepsi Cola International.
Its shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on January 27, at an average price of 37,000 denars.
