September 20 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Public Enterprise for State Roads (PESR) has signed a contract worth 752.1 million denars ($13 million/12.2 million euro), VAT included, with local construction company Granit [MSE:GRNT] for the construction of a bypass road in Tetovo, Granit said.
The contract concerns works on the bypass road from and including interchange Trebos to Neprosteno village, Granit said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.
The contract was signed on September 19.
Granit's shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on September 18, at an average price of 1,115 denars.
Skopje-based Granit was established as a state-owned company in 1952 and privatised in 1996. Its main activities include construction and rehabilitation of roads. The company owns several concrete and asphalt plants and stone quarries.
