July 27 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian mineral water and soft drinks producer Pelisterka [MSE:LOZP] said that it booked a net profit of 21.3 million denars ($408,000/346,000 euro) in the first half of 2021, after recording a net loss of 10.1 million denars in the same period last year.
Total operating revenue rose by an annual 32.8% to 165 million denars in the six months through June, whereas operating expenses increased 3.8% to 124.8 million denars, Pelisterka said in an interim financial statement last week.
Domestic sales added 29.1% year-on-year to 136.8 million denars in the January-June period, while sales from abroad rose to 23.1 million denars from 18.1 million denars.
The company increased its costs of consumed materials and supplies to 60.3 million denars in the six months through June from 51.1 million denars in the like period a year earlier. However, it lowered its services costs to 10.6 million denars from 12.4 million denars.
