August 8 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's mineral water and soft drinks producer Pelisterka [MSE:LOZP] said that its net profit fell to 8.4 million denars ($138,852/136,389 euro) in the first half of 2022, from 17.3 million denars in the like period of last year.
Total operating revenue rose by an annual 19% to 212.2 million denars in the six months through June, whereas operating expenses increased 22% to 186.8 million denars, Pelisterka said in an interim financial statement on Friday.
Domestic sales added 23% year-on-year to 182.3 million denars in the January-June period, while export sales rose to 25.9 million denars from 23.1 million denars.
The company increased its costs of consumed materials and supplies to 88 million denars in the six months through June from 69.8 million denars in the like period of 2021, while services costs remained flat year-on-year at 37.5 million denars.
