March 2 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based oil refinery Okta [MSE:OKTA] said that its net profit grew 44% on the year in 2022, reaching 546 million denars ($9.4 million/8.9 million euro).
Okta's sales revenue more than doubled to nearly 60 billion denars in 2022, compared with 26.1 billion denars booked a year earlier, the company said in an annual financial statement earlier this week.
Cost of goods sold soared to 58.4 billion denars in 2022 from 24.8 billion denars in 2021.
Okta, a member of the Hellenic Petroleum Group, owns crude oil refining facilities with nameplate capacity of 2.5 million metric tonnes and storage facilities with a total capacity of 350 million litres.
Okta's shares traded at an average price of 3,597 denars on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on Wednesday, the latest available bourse data showed.
