May 13 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian fuel storage and transport company Oilco KDA [MSE:OILK] said that its net loss narrowed to 5.2 million denars ($95,000/85,000 euro) in the first quarter of 2019 from 5.5 million denars in the same period of 2018.
Oilco KDA's total operating revenue grew 8% on the year to 80.2 million denars in the first three months of 2019, the company said in an interim financial statement on Friday.
Domestic sales added 5% to 71 million denars, while exports soared 86% to 9.2 million denars.
Total operating expenses increased 7% to 85.4 million denars, mainly due to a 10% rise in expenses for materials, which totalled 25.3 million denars.
Oilco KDA has a fuel depot in the village Miladinovci near Skopje. The company transports petrol, diesel and heavy fuel oil, as well as compressed natural gas and liquid petroleum gas.
Oilco KDA's biggest shareholder is Macedonian fuel retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT].
