May 31 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's NLB Banka [MSE:TNB], part of Slovenian banking group Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), said on Wednesday its shareholders endorsed a plan to distribute a gross dividend of 2,431 denars ($42.2/39.5 euro) per share for 2022, significantly higher compared with a year earlier.
The lender will use 2.1 billion denars out of its 2022 and 2021 profit to pay dividend for last year, it said in a bourse filing.
NLB Banka distributed 738 denars per share for 2021.
The bank booked a net profit of 2.4 billion denars in 2022, up 9.6% on an annual comparison basis.
NLB Banka's shares traded at an average price of 28,875 denars on Wednesday, the latest available Skopje bourse data showed.
