February 25 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian lender NLB Banka said on Monday that it generated a net profit of 2.12 billion denars ($39.2 million/34.5 million euro) in 2018, virtually unchanged from the year before, despite a rise in revenue.
The bank's net interest income increased to 2.96 billion denars last year from 2.86 billion denars in 2017, NLB Banka said in an unaudited financial statement.
Net fee and commission income grew to 1.05 billion denars in 2018 from 1.02 billion denars a year earlier, while other operating income soared to 670 million denars from 352 million denars.
Personnel expenses rose to 806 million denars last year from 765 million denars in 2017.
Depreciation and amortisation costs increased to 201 million denars from 190 million denars, while other operating expenses fell to 823 million denars from 833 million denars.
Skopje-based NLB Banka is a unit of Slovenia's Nova Ljubljanska Banka.
