May 12 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia issued 373 building permits in March, 10.4% more compared with the same month of 2021, the statistical office said on Thursday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in March fell by 12.1% on the year to 4.59 billion denars ($78.3 million/75 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
Of the total number of permits issued in March, 182 were for new buildings, 69 for civil engineering projects and 122 for reconstruction projects. Of the total, 195 permits were issued to private individuals.
Based on the number of permits issued during the review period, 501 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 45,333 sq m.
