April 15 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia issued 250 building permits in February, 27.7% less compared with the same month of 2021, the statistical office said on Friday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in February fell by 39.7% on the year to 2.76 billion denars ($48.6 million/44.9 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
Of the total number of permits issued in February, 138 were for new buildings, 29 for civil engineering projects and 83 for reconstruction projects. Of the total, 146 permits were issued to private individuals.
Based on the number of permits issued during the review period, 440 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 40,405 sq m.
