SKOPJE (North Macedonia), January 14 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia issued 208 building permits in November, 14.4% fewer compared with the same month of 2019, the statistical office said on Thursday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in November decreased by 22.2% on the year to 1.9 billion denars ($37.6 million/30.9 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
Of the total number of permits issued in November, 112 were for new buildings, 20 for civil engineering projects and 76 for reconstruction projects. Of the total, 109 permits were issued to private individuals.
Based on the number of permits issued during the review period, 302 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 26,479 sq m.
