May 16 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian marble producer Mermeren Kombinat [MSE:MERM] said on Thursday that its net profit plunged by an annual 52% to 134.9 million denars ($2.5 million/2.2 million euro) in the first three months of 2019.
The company's sales revenue dropped 51% to 265 million denars in the first three months of the year, Mermeren Kombinat said in a bourse filing.
Cost of goods sold fell 49% to 176.1 million denars in the January-March period.
Financial revenue grew to 8 million denars in the review period from 755,000 denars a year earlier, while financial expenses rose to 6.1 million denars from 1.4 million denars the year before.
