March 8 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based marble producer Mermeren Kombinat [MSE:MERM] said it booked a net profit of 859.6 million denars ($14.8 million/14.1 million euro) in 2022, down 6% compared with the year before.
The company's sales revenue edged up 1% year-on-year in 2022, to 1.9 billion denars, while costs of goods sold grew 15% to 639.3 million denars, it said in an annual financial statement last week.
Revenues from the domestic market were 39% lower at 6 million denars in 2022, whereas revenues from sales abroad rose 1% on the year to nearly 1.9 billion denars.
Mermeren Kombinat's shares have not traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) in the past year.
