September 27 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said that it has repurchased 30 of its own shares for an undisclosed sum.
Following the transaction, Makpetrol owns 8,603 own shares, equivalent to a 7.66% stake in the company, the fuel retailer said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.
Makpetrol shares traded at an average price of 73,012.38 denars ($1,297/1,186 euro) on Friday on the stock exchange in Skopje.
In June, Makpetrol launched a share buyback programme targeting up to 10% of the company's capital.
Makpetrol has a network of over a hundred fuel stations across Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
